General

Walter and Books AB (org. no. 556581-7268) owns and operates Leila’s General Store.
Prices include Swedish VAT (value-added tax) with 25%.
If you are under 18 years old you must have the consent of a parent or a guardian in order to make a purchase.

Delivery

If the goods are in stock, normal delivery time to your local parcel distribution office is 1–3 days (within Sweden). Notification of delivery will be sent as a text message or as a paper notification to bring when collecting your parcel.

Fees and charges

  • Postage and packing is SEK 59 for all orders (within Sweden)
  • If you choose to pay by invoice, there is an invoice fee of SEK 29 (within Sweden).

Returns 

We offer a 30 day return- and exchange policy, counting from when the parcel arrives to your local distribution office. 

The free return and exchange policy applies only within Sweden. In all other cases you will have to pay for and send it to:

Leila's General Store offers different payment methods for your purchase. You can read more about the different options below.

Card payment

Leila’s General Store work with DIBS to ensure secure card payments in our Internet shop. When you pay with a credit or debit card there are no extra fees. We accept the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. The DIBS system is approved by all Swedish banks and is certified according to PCI DSS by Visa and MasterCard to act as an intermediary for payment transactions at the highest security level. All communication between the shop and your bank is handled by DIBS and is encrypted via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

DIBS also supports 3D Secure to identify the card owner during an online purchase and thereby reduces the risk of card misuse. If your card is registered for 3D Secure you will be connected to your bank for verification before the payment is approved. If you have further questions about security or how to make a payment, please contact our customer service.

 

Direct Payment through Swedbank and Handelsbanken (within Sweden)

Direct Payment is a convenient and easy method of payment which will send you directly to the login page for verification. The information is already filled in so the only thing you need to do is select the account and make the payment. 

 

Invoice–Klarna (within Sweden)

We work with Klarna AB to make invoice payments safe and easy. This means your invoice and the sum outstanding are transferred to Klarna AB. At the time of purchase a credit check will be made, which in some cases means a credit report is commissioned. You will receive a copy of the credit report by post. Personal details will be handled in accordance with applicable law (PUL, the Swedish Personal Data Act). There is an invoice fee of 29 SEK per order. All invocies are sent by email. Payment terms are 14 days. If payment is not made in time, there will be an additional reminder fee of 60 SEK, and interest will be charged at 26.00% APR.

Paying by instalments–Klarna (within Sweden)

We work with Klarna AB to make paying by instalments safe and easy. You can choose the amount you want to pay each month - the minimum amount is 50 SEK per month or 1/24th of the total sum. All your purchases are collected in one account and on one invoice. This applies even if you have made purchases at several online shops via Klarna Konto. You can pay off the whole outstanding sum at any time. There is a invoice fee of 29 SEK, regardless of many purchases you have made. 

For purchases over 1.000 SEK with Klarna Konto there is no initial fee. The applicable annual interest is 19.90%, which corresponds to an effective interest rate of 29.22%. This means the average monthly interest will be 16.58 SEK per month. At the time of purchase a credit check will be made, which in some cases means that a credit report is commissioned. You will receive a copy of the credit report by post.

PayPal

PayPal is a global e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. There is no extra fee when using PayPal to pay in SEK, whether you use a connected card or your balance. PayPal stores and protects your credit card information so you don't have to retype it everytime you shop. You don't have to have a balance on your PayPal account to pay, you can just connect your card to the account. You authorize every payment with your email address and password. 

C.O.D. - Cash on delivery (within Sweden)

You can choose to pay for your purchase when collecting the parcel at your service point. An additional administrative fee of 59 SEK will be added to the amount.

Postage & delivery

Delivery

For all parcels sent within Sweden, we use Posten MyPack or letter mail. You collect your parcel at the nearest service point. Notification is sent by text message or letter. All parcels abroad are sent with UPS (Posten MyPack to Finland). They deliver right up to your door.

Delivery charges

Sweden: SEK 59 for all orders.
Denmark: SEK 149 for all orders. 
Finland: SEK 149 for all orders.
Norway: SEK 129 for all orders.

Uncollected parcels

For parcels that are not collected, an additional fee of 300 SEK will be charged. This reflect the costs of us sending the parcel and handling the return.

Leila’s General Store reserves the right to change prices and to revise any incorrectly stated prices.

Products

Leila's General Store can not be held responsible for possible misprints on the website. We always do our best to present the products as faithfully as possible, but we can't guarantee that their appearance on your computer screen will exactly match the actual product.

Selection

We reserve the right to change the selection of goods on offer and to remove items from our catalogue prior to confirmation of purchase.

Discounts

Percentage reductions do not apply on items that are included in a sale.

Returns & exchanges

It's important that you are pleased with your purchase. We offer a 30 day free return and exchange policy. The goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging, meaning they have not been used. You have the right to open the packaging in order to check the product and ensure it works as it should.
If these terms aren't met, you will be charged an administrative fee of 300 SEK.

How to make an exchange

  1. Contact us at kundtjanst@leila.se  or call us on +46 (0)8-667 61 27 so we can reserve the replacement item for you. 
  2. Fill in the return form and send back the item together with the return slip and a copy of your order confirmation. Take care to pack the item you are exchanging in a way that it can't be damaged during transportion. If the goods are damaged you will be charged a fee of 300 SEK.
  3. When we have received the item and approved the exchange we will send you the replacement.

How to make a return

  2. Fill in the return form and send back the item together with the return slip and a copy of your order confirmation. Take care to pack the goods you are exchanging so that they can't be damaged during transportation. If the goods are damaged you will be charged a fee of 300 SEK.
  3. When we have received the item and approved the return we will repay the amount to your card or by using the account details you have provided on the return form. 

Faulty or damaged goods

We guarantee that the goods we supply are free of defects when being sent. Complaints will be handled according to Swedish consumer protection law (Konsumentköplagen).

  2. Fill in the return form and send back the item together with the return slip and a copy of your order confirmation. 
  3. When we have received the goods and approved the complaint we will send you the replacement item or repay the amount to your card or byusing the account details you have provided on the return form.

Guarantee

We offer one year’s guarantee for manufacturing faults on all of our products. If a different guarantee period applies from the original manufacturer then that is the one to follow.

Other 

Force Majeure

Leila’s General Store applies force majeure in the event of events which we can't foresee, such as war, revolution, revolt, strikes, government action, lockouts, blockade, natural disasters, sabotage or major catastrophic events. This means that this contract may no longer apply in part or in whole. If this does occur, we will attempt to contact our customers to discuss matters.

Law

Leila’s General Store is bound by the applicable Swedish laws on mail order retail (distanshandel), consumer protection (konsumentköplagen), and online trade (E-handelslagen).
