Payment terms
Leila’s General Store offers 3 different ways to pay for your purchases. You can read more about the different payment options below.
Card payments
Leila’s General Store works with DIBS to ensure secure card payments in our Internet shop. When you pay with a credit or charge card there are no extra costs other than a postage and packing charge of SEK 59. We accept the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Amex. The DIBS system is approved by all Swedish banks and is certified according to PCI DSS by Visa and MasterCard to act as an intermediary for payment transactions at the highest security level. All communication between the shop and your bank is handled by DIBS and is encrypted via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
DIBS also supports 3D Secure to identify the card owner during an online purchase and thereby reduce the risk of card misuse. If your card is registered for 3D Secure you will be connected to your bank for verification before the payment is approved. If you have further questions about security or how to make a payment, please contact Leila’s General Store Customer Services. The payment will be reserved on your card (which means that the money is debited only when the goods have been delivered).
Invoice–Klarna
We work with Klarna AB to make invoice payments safe and simple. This means that your invoice and the sum outstanding are transferred to Klarna AB. At the time of purchase a credit check is made, which in some cases means that a credit report is commissioned. You will receive a copy of the credit report by post. Personal details will be handled in accordance with applicable law (PUL, the Swedish Personal Data Act). In addition to the postage and packing charge of SEK 69, there is an additional invoicing fee of SEK 39 for all invoiced orders. The invoice will be sent with the parcel. Payment terms are 14 days. An additional notification fee of SEK 5 per order will be payable. If payment is not made there will be an additional reminder fee of SEK 50, and interest will be charged at 26.00% APR.
Paying by instalments–Klarna
We work with Klarna AB to make paying by instalments safe and simple. You can choose for yourself how much you want to pay each month—the minimum amount is SEK 50 per month or 1/24th of the total sum. All your purchases are collected in one account and on one invoice. This applies even if you have made purchases at several online shops via Klarna Konto. You can pay off the whole outstanding sum at any time. There is a notification fee of SEK 29, however many purchases you have made. Postage and packing is SEK 69 per order.
As an example, for a purchase of SEK 1000 with Klarna Konto there is no initial fee. The applicable annual interest is 19.90%, which corresponds to an effective interest rate of 29.22%. This means the average monthly interest will be SEK 16.58 per month. At the time of purchase a credit check is made, which in some cases means that a credit report is commissioned. You will receive a copy of the credit report by post.

Postage & delivery
Delivery times
If goods are in stock our normal delivery time to your local parcel distribution office is 2–4 days, but in a few cases we may need up to 7 working days.
Delivery
We deliver all of our products using Schenker Privpak, Posten’s MyPack, or via letter post. You collect MyPack and Privpak parcels from your nearest service point. Notification is by text message, email, or letter
Delivery charges
Sweden: SEK 69 for all orders.
Denmark: SEK 169 for all orders.
Finland: SEK 169 for all orders.
Norway: SEK 349 for all orders.
Uncollected parcels
For parcels that are not collected, an additional fee of SEK 300 will be charged. This reflects the cost to us of sending the parcel and handling the return.

Prices
Leila’s General Store reserves the right to change prices and to revise any incorrectly stated prices.
Products:
We cannot he held responsible for possible misprints on this website. We always do our absolute best to present our products as faithfully as possible, but we cannot guarantee that their appearance on your computer screen will exactly match the actual product.
Selection
We reserve the right to change the selection of goods on offer and to remove items from our catalogue prior to confirmation of purchase.
Discounts
Percentage reductions do not apply to items that are included in a sale.
Returns & exchanges
It is important that you are pleased with your purchase. You have the right to return it within 14 days of delivery, with no questioned asked. We ask only that the goods are returned in their original condition—that is, they have not been used, and they are returned in their original packaging. Naturally, you have the right to open the packaging in order to check the product and ensure it works as it should.
If a product is different from what was ordered or does not work, Leila’s General Store will of course pay the return postage. However, if this it not the case we will return the goods to you and charge you for the postage and handling costs.
How to exchange or return items
Send the items you wish to return or exchange to the address given on the return slip (included with every package), along with the return slip itself and a copy of your original order confirmation.

How to make an exchange
- Contact us at Leila’s General Store Customer Services (kundtjänst@leilasgeneralstore.com) or call us on +46 8-667 61 27 so we can reserve the replacement item for you
- Fill in the return slip and send back the item together with the return slip and a copy of your order confirmation. Take care to pack the item you are exchanging so that it cannot be damaged in transport. The address to use is given on the return slip.
- When we have received the item and approved the exchange we will send you the replacement. If the replacement is more expensive, you will pay the difference as cash on delivery when you collect the parcel; if the replacement is cheaper we will pay you the difference, using the account details you have provided on the return slip.
- Bear in mind that you pay the return postage.
How to make a return
- Fill in the return slip that came with your package. It is important that you give your reason for making the return.
- Send back the goods together with the return slip and a copy of your order confirmation. Take care to pack the goods you are exchanging so that they cannot be damaged in transport. The address to use is given on the return slip.
- When we have received the goods and approved the return we will repay you, using the account details you have provided on the return slip.
- Bear in mind that you pay the return postage. Note that for your exchange or return to be approved all the goods must be packed in suitable packaging with protective material, preferably the same packaging in which you received the goods. If the goods are damaged or we do not approve the return we charge a fee of SEK 300.
Faulty or damaged goods
We guarantee that the goods we supply are free of defects on delivery. Complaints will be handled according to Swedish consumer protection law (Konsumentköplagen). You can read more about this by clicking here.
- Call Leila’s General Store on 08-667 61 27 as soon as you discover the problem.
- Fill in the return slip.
- Send back the faulty or damaged goods together with the return slip and a copy of your order confirmation. The address to use is given on the return slip.
- When we have received the goods and approved the complaint we will inform you and send you your new replacement goods and reimburse you for the return postage. Alternatively, we will repay you in full.
Guarantee
We offer one year’s guarantee for manufacturing faults on all our products. A different guarantee period may apply if the original manufacturer offers a different guarantee period for a particular product.
Other terms & conditions
Force Majeure
Leila’s General Store applies force majeure in the occurrence of events which we cannot be expected to foresee, such as war, revolution, revolt, strikes, government action, lockouts, blockade, natural disasters, sabotage or major catastrophic events. This can mean that this contract may no longer apply in part or in whole. If this does occur we will attempt to contact our customers to discuss matters.
Laws
Leila’s General Store is bound by the applicable Swedish laws on mail order retail (distanshandel), consumer protection (konsumentköplagen), and online trade (E-handelslagen).
